The Islanders made minor changes to the coaching staff for the upcoming season. Robb Bowman will remain head coach, Chris Latimer assistant coach and Kevin Griffin will now assume the role of general manager. There are a few new faces on the executive and the Islanders would like to welcome you and to those who have left, thank you for your time and efforts over your tenure.

The Islanders Cinderella story season came to and end Wednesday night at home as they fell four games to none to the Alexandria Glens. The boys have nothing to be ashamed of this year as they brought back the Gill Cup to Gan and they made believers out of a lot of people. Congrats to Alexandria a very strong team and best of luck in the next series. The support from our fans and town was very appreciated.
